{it's here}

It took me a few reads to actually love this story. So when I was lurking around the author's journal and she mentioned that this was being released in PRINT I got so excited. I just went and bought the print version today (!!!). The kicker also? The book was decently priced too just a tad over £5 I think. I'm not sure if Samhain has any choice as to how the paperbacks are priced when released to outside sellers - but I am so pleased with the pricing scheme. (I should maybe check other Samhain books and see if they're similar).

I figured with the downturn in the economy maybe the Loose Id print books would be cheaper also. But alas not. Not only that I think they got more expensive. FAIL LOOSE ID! I wonder if anyone actually buys for them publisher anymore? Their e-book pricing is ridiculous never mind their paperbacks (and yes author's I know you have no choice in the pricing matter). I've seen so many BLOGGERS complain about this matter. I wonder if the publisher has taken this on board at all? I guess not if they had their $7.99 price tags on novels would come down to $5.50 like Samhain's. Don't get me wrong I hardly buy from Samhain (they just don't have enough m/m fiction - and I'm sorry but Ally Blue/J.L.Langely books are just so 'meh'). But their pricing rule.

What are You Reading - January 2009?

  1. This god awful book that I am reviewing. The blurb was so stupid; why oh why did I request it? Oh yeah because it's about best friend. Boo me.
  2. Bend over Big Boy (ed Kit Zheng) - Anthology
How many books have you read in 2009 thus far? Me: I've read 12 books so far. I read 157 books in 2008. I surpassed my aim last year of reading a 100 books. The same total applies this year as well. I'm hoping to read 200 books this year - but I also want to write something too, so probably not. (I really want to finish my free fiction stories. Well one of them at least).

I'm on chapter 4 of the GOD AWFUL BOOK. 37/167 pages completed. Great.
